Head of Department of Accounting
Dr Peng Cheng is a Senior Associate Professor in Accounting, and is currently the Head of the Accounting Department (2020-present) of the International Business School Suzhou at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University. Peng joined the university in 2010 and acted as the Head of the Accounting and Finance Division (2013-2020) of the Business School before the original Division of Accounting and Finance was split into two separate departments in 2020: the Accounting Department and the Finance Department respectively. Peng has a wide range of research interests in accounting, corporate finance, and corporate governance. His work has been published in the Journal of Accounting and Public Policy; Accounting and Business Research; the Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions & Money; Corporate Governance: An International Review, etc.
